Michael is the former managing director of Wilson & Horton Ltd, a listed commercial printing company and publisher of several NZ newspaper titles including The New Zealand Herald. Wilson & Horton Ltd was bought by APN, a publisher of Australian regional newspapers, in 1995.

Geoff is the former chief executive of PMP NZ Ltd. PMP is Australasia's laregst commercial printer with two sites in NZ. Geoff, currently General Manager of Dorma NZ,  has been a director of HML since 2005.
